Today my hostess took me on a bicycle ride through her town, it is… 

The postal zip code is D 71088. Now you can search it with Mr. Google. 😊 It is a small town (15 thousand inhabitants) not far away from Stuttgart, and look they have a partner town in USA! 

I could see several of these ‘Fachwerkhäuser’ like I saw in Japan, some in a very good state and also one …dough… be aware that you are not around when it breaks down.

Most impressing to me is the castle. Yes, they have a little castle completely surrounded by a moat with swans and fish!

And here’s the location where the sport class was held. It is the former school house … now a library and 

kindergarten. 

Look closely and you can see the bike we were riding on.

They have a great fire department. Recently there was a great fire more than 200 fireworkers were involved.

After our tour we rested and watched the bird feeder, a thousand sparrows and tits and magpies! 

But you won’t believe it!!! Every time I tried to take photo ..whoosh… and off they were.

The best was at the end. Banana with honey and chocolate chips!!

We are all heading to bed now. Tomorrow is a holiday here. We will make a trip to my hostess Jofraima’s stepmom's. She lives in Karlsruhe. I’m eager to see the highway ;-)
