We stopped at the wildlife center. People bring hurt wild animals here for them to get better. And little babies who have lost their mums come here too. 

We saw a bobcat who is blind, and a red-tail hawk with a bad wing, and baby squirrels without a mum.

There was also a red tail hawk with a fractured wing and loss of sight in one eye. 

Two baby squirrels are new arrivals who will hopefully be released into a forest preserve when they are ready. 

The two flying squirrels were sleeping so didn’t get to visit with them this time.
