We went for a walk at lunch time… There is a pedestrian street called Sparks Street mall where they were setting up for an annual Ribfest event.

We walked over to Parliament Hill (Ottawa is the capital of Canada)… Suzieqtee works 2 blocks from there….

Hoping maybe to run into Prime Minister Trudeau…

(Suzieqtee' says that egardless of your politics… He’s handsome)

On Wednesdays they have yoga on the hill.

Also a group playing soccer

And some protesters.

Room for everyone.

There is a big stage in front….getting ready for Canada’s birthday on July 1st…

The eternal flame

We stopped by the Ottawa sign. I am spreading out my paws to make the missing T.

Then it was hard work watching people do yoga so we stopped for a Frocho (frozen hot chocolate ).

I would have preferred frozen carrot juice but they had just ran out.

No sightings of Prime Minister Trudeau but there is still time.

After work we stopped in to visit Suzieqtee’s mom and have a bite to eat. Suzieqtee’s mom taught her how to knit many years ago.

When we finally got home we were greeted by some distant relatives of mine Nobody is sure how they found out I was here.

Sara said that Mother screamed with joy when (looking over Sara's shoulder) she saw this picture and recognized her Great Aunt Lucy and second cousin Leroy!!!!! She knew they lived somewhere up in Canada but couldn’t recall exactly where. Sara had to give her extra lavender and chamomile leaves tonight to help her calm down.
