We had a fun and busy day!! Like many others, Bonnie has been baking a lot of bread during quarantine, so we started the morning making her last loaf of bread into French toast for breakfast. Yum! Normally during “regular” times the kids only have time for a bowl of cereal before they rush off to school, so it’s been nice during quarantine that they have time for cooked breakfasts in the morning before school at home!

I guess it was a baking kind of day because Bonnie’s daughter decided to bake some cupcakes to celebrate my arrival. I helped her out and we went fancy! They were delicious!

Next, Bonnie took me with her on a little outing to visit a couple of friends in a backyard, sitting and chatting at a distance. She’s slowly getting back out into the world in little baby steps and was happy to have me for company. It was so pleasant to visit outside and I got to meet this gentle giant Luna, and hide in the gorgeous rose bushes. Can you spot me?

The kids seem to be planning something now- let’s see what tomorrow brings! Good night everyone!
