Hi all! It was a beautiful breezy blue sky kind of day. We had a lazy and mellow day and hung out on the deck to video chat with Bonnie’s mom and another cousin of mine that she had knit up:

We also went to explore a nearby nature preserve with hiking trails. The trails were super overgrown so we didn’t get too far but we did find this nice gazebo where we sat to enjoy the nature sounds for a bit:

Back home it was pizza night! (I helped make the dough last night before bed). Bonnie’s husband decided to try cooking it on the grill. The first two kind of burned on the bottom but the third time was the charm. It was delish!

One of the most magical parts of our day was a fox that ran right through the driveway in plain sight of all of us watching from inside the house! Unfortunately Bonnie didn’t act fast enough to get a photo but it was awesome to see. It reminded me of Sara’s fox pattern!

Here is some ice cream  from the Indian market (Saffron flavored) that we are trying (given to us by Bonnie’s neighbors) and some watermelon treats, making this feel like a real summer day!
