I started off the day yesterday catching some sun in the kitchen window and watching the squirrels in the backyard.

In the afternoon we went to Amanda's cello lesson. She let me ride by the windshield so I could see the town. I listened to her lesson from her jacket pocket. I liked the duet she's working on with her teacher the best. Then it was errands, mainly grocery shopping. Check out all the produce we bought.

Today we did a little housework. I wanted to help, so Amanda let me dust the mantle. Check out the dogs just like my new friends. I got all around the knick knacks in a flash!

Then, in the afternoon we went for a walk in the park just a block from Amanda's house. I took some selfies of the view. We stopped to see the barn in the park, built in 1888.

I also liked all the big pink rocks in the park. Amanda told me that it’s called Sioux quartzite, and while it’s common here, it’s one of the few places on earth it’s found.
