Good morning everyone! What an adventure! belindat’s DH works on movies and tv shows. He is what they call a grip, it means he builds the sets. He took me to the place he is working at this time, he says it changes often but for now…he has to leave very early in the morning.

This is us leaving in the morning. Even the sun isn’t up yet.

We get there and it’s barely light out.

You can see the name of the place he works on the gate.

We have to go through the gate and they check to see if he supposed to be there.

I see all these trucks,  Mike explains inside those trucks is sets that are going to location. Where other stagehands will set them up for the film crew! Then we get to the stage where we will be working today..

It’s a big place and I’m a little scared but Mike says don’t worry he’ll watch over me and everyone in there is really nice.

Mike asked me to help and head him his screw gun, these are very heavy for me. Mike is right there and helps me.

I got to meet another knitter who works with Mike. I will have to ask Mike later for her name. I was so excited, I have forgot.

My next job was to learn how to run a front end loader. They use these to move materials around to the different areas where they need to work.

I did very well. It was a big machine.

Next I climbed onto a scissor lift, and it lifted me way up and I could see everything in the studio.

It was really high, very high for a small bunny like me. I was scared, and excited to see so much. Mike and I can’t tell you what show we are working on, but I can tell you he has worked on a lot of different shows and movies over the years.

This is a picture of me and Mike. He works long days and it was good to get home and see belindat and her sons. They gave me dinner and tucked me in my bed. I snoozed right out…wonder what today will bring…
