Hello, I don't know if you've been keeping up with the news, but due to a lot of wildfires, it's been so smoky here that we can't get out and about that much. We are all suffering dry eyes and sore throats, so we’re staying inside for the most part. Besides all the smoke, the well drilling has been really noisy. Good news! The well was finished yesterday. It's 305 feet deep. My host family can stop worrying about water.

One day we went to the library and played with a fun train.

The boys take turns with who gets to play with me. I am sure going to miss them when it's time to leave for my next destination.

The day before I was due to leave we got to go to the beach. Here we are having a snack at a local cafe.

The beach was a lot of fun, but not what I usually think of when I picture a beach. I have had a lot of fun with this nice family, but I am due to leave soon for my next adventure.
