October 8, Day at sea:

Today we had a “sea day” - I didn’t know what that means, but I learned that we spend the whole day on the ship. It’s really fun - there is a lot to do and see. We went to the library and checked out some books, and then watched some movies. Mostly we just relaxed.

October 9, Costa Maya Mexico:

Today was really hot! We made our first landing along the Yucatan Peninsula. We spent time looking at beautiful jungle plants and animals, and watched dolphins being trained. We weren’t allowed to take any pictures, but I sure remember how interesting it was! Did you know some dolphins have pink tummies? They do! And for some reason they prefer fish to carrots - I guess it’s because it’s hard to grow veggies in the ocean.
