OMG!!! Gulliver arrived!

True to your word, he has gotten awfully used to sleeping on skeins of yarn and I had to wake him up to join mum and I for dinner. Thank you emjaydee for making sure he got to me safely

The parcel was untouched by fires and the contents of the package were greatly appreciated.

Gulliver arrived just in the nick of time. We are expecting rain tomorrow. It’s amazing what he can bring from New Zealand. Never thought the rain would get through customs so that was pretty good.

Tomorrow, after he’s properly rested, Gulliver needs to help me get mum ready for her therapy group and then come with me to work. After work, I’ll introduce him to the Knittaz. On the weekend, I’ll set up a project page on Ravelry and post diary notes & photos for you all to enjoy.

After a proper night’s rest, I took Gulli in to work where he met Edna.

Edna is my former boss’ guide dog puppy in training and she was rather excited. She was that happy to meet a new friend that she peed just outside the elevator trying to get back up to the office this morning.

It is now minutes away from the end of the working day and it is what we call in Australia, “bucketing down with rain”. The ground is well and truly wet so this should help with the fires. I just don’t know how Gulli managed to drag those rain clouds away from New Zealand… or how lost luggage could have possibly worked out that he would be in Melbourne…, very, very strange. Gulli must have magical powers!

I finally managed to get Edna under control and she slept like a baby the rest of the afternoon.

Gulli was more interested in the goings on outside. I’m on the eighth floor and I think he was checking out who was hooking up with who in the park. Boy bunnies can be very naughty! He wasn’t at all interested in conflict resolution which is what i do for a living and nor was he interested in receiving any training, hmmmm! I was hoping to teach him some skills to use in his everyday life moving forward.

He probably wants to call his mum and let her know that he’s arrived and I forgot to take his phone to work. I’ll have to let him call on the drive home.
