Today I picked the poem Magalen Walks by Oscar Wilde in celebration of the spring time weather… lots of rain and everything starting to bloom.

Now, the story of our trip to the famous Powell's bookstore. It's a building in Portland OR with 9 different color coded big rooms and several floors - all books! with a small amount of games and toys. The books are new and used and you can sell books you don't want anymore to use to get new book. It's a great store that Amanda and her husband love to go to. So we set out and drove there (about 1 hour away.) We got there at dark and I have to say that I was astounded!

As I have done in other stores that I've visited, I played hide and seek in the book stacks, can you find me in the last photo?

Then things got really interesting. Amanda handed me  and the camera to her husband and asked him to hold us while she was looking in the knitting book section. After she was done she couldn't find us. So she sat down and waited, reading for about 45 minutes then got a little concerned. Where did we go?

She finally went to the main information desk and asked if they could page a husband and a rabbit and they agreed. They called my name over the speaker system and in a few minutes we both arrived smiling and happy!

We had gone to the top floor to look at oversized picture books and they took pictures in the books as you will see below!

Didn't we get some neat photos?
