We went home by a different route. I saw a big anchor. Then surprise of surprises a cruise ship! That brings back happy memories. Emjaydee says that one or two cruise ships come into Port Chalmers every day in the summer. That’s a way to come to Aotearoa without a long flight.

We visited Aramoana the path to the sea. I begged emjaydee to put me down in the sand and giggled as the wind blew me over and over. I enjoyed a carrot juice on the way home. Emjaydee did something called ‘retail therapy.’ I think this top is perfect for us both.

I had a nap in the car driving home and then helped cake  some yarn for a New Year cast on. I wonder what we will do to see in the new year?
