Amanda's husband has been home for a few days between poker trips, so we’ve been spending some time together before he leaves again. Yesterday we got ice cream  from their favorite shop. It closes for 5 months over the winter, and it just re-opened for the season. I really liked the strawberry chocolate chip.

Today was warm and sunny, so Amanda spent the afternoon doing yard work. I played outside while she picked up sticks.

Amanda helped me climb a tree so he could get a better view of the yard. I was very careful not to fall out.

I also noticed that the day lilies are just starting to come up. They’re the first signs of spring this year.

After a whole afternoon of picking up sticks, cleaning out flower beds, and raking the leaves that Amanda didn’t get to before it snowed last fall, we’re both tired!
