I arrived in Portland! The dog, Virgil, demanded that the box be opened so he could meet me, but Amanda said he had to wait til Dad got home! Interestingly, she said that her husband has been looking forward to my visit and has some places he wants to show me here in Oregon! He would be a little disappointed if they opened the box before he got home from work… so wait, we did!

I was not worse for wear travelling all day and night from SD. I will admit that I nibbled on on a bag of chocolates so I had some sustenance while travelling. Possum of the Grotto included some gifts for Amanda: pretty silver stitch markers, a GORGEOUS skein of purple colors handspun, chocolates and a lovely scented candle.
